Magic Fruit Cake Recipe

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups sifted pastry flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
3 cups mince meat
1 1/3 cups (1 can) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons sherry (optional)
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
2 cups mixed candied fruit
Directions
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Grease 9 inch tube pan.
Line with brown paper; grease again.
Sift flour, salt and baking soda.
Set aside.
In large size bowl slightly beat eggs; add mince meat, sweetened condensed milk, sherry, nuts and fruit; mix well.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients.
Turn into prepared pan.
Bake in slow 300°F oven for 2 hours.
Cool in pan for 5 minutes.
Turn out of pan; remove paper.
Cool.
Decorate.
Wrap in foil and store in refrigerator.
