Magic Cookie Bar Recipe
Magic Cookie Bar has been always the favorite Christmas treat. The fusion of butter or margarine, cracker crumbs, nuts, chocolate pieces, flaked coconut and sweetened condensed milk gives is mouth watering taste.
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Graham cracker crumbs | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Nuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 cup semi sweet chocolate pieces | ||
| Flaked coconut | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sweetened condensed milk | 1 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
Sprinkle cracker crumbs evenly on top of butter followed by a layer of chopped nuts, a layer of chocolate pieces and a layer of coconut.
Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly on top of coconut.
Bake in moderate oven until lightly browned on top, about 25 minutes.
Cool in pan 15 minutes.
Cut into bars 1 1/2 x 2 inches.
