Machcha Patropoda Recipe
Machcha patropoda is a fish recipe prepared with spices and chilies. Prepared with biriyani masala and curry leaves for taste, the machcha patropoda is cooked on coals and is very appetizing indeed.
Ingredients
For the masala
Ginger 1 tsp
Garlic 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Dry red chillies 2-3
For the main preparation
Fish 1
Biryani masala 2 tsp
Green chillies 1 tsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves 7
Coriander leaves as required
Onion 1
Mustard oil 1 tbsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Directions
For the masala Grind the garlic, ginger, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and the dry red chillies together.
For the main preparation Clean the fish and cut into small pieces.
Marinate the fish with salt, turmeric, prepared masala, green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves, onions and mustard oil.
Wrap the marinated fish in a banana leaf and tie it up with a thread.
Cook the sealed fishes on coal for 15-20 minutes.
For the main preparation Clean the fish and cut into small pieces.

Wrap the marinated fish in a banana leaf and tie it up with a thread.
