Ingredients

 2 cups shell or ring macaroni
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Cheddar Cheese1 Cup (16 tbs), cubed
 Gherkins1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
 1/2 cup very finely chopped onion
 2 cups cooked peas
 Mayonnaise1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sea soning
 Lettuce

Directions

Cook macaroni in boiling salted water; drain well.
Add butter; toss lightly.
Add cheese, gherkins, onion, and peas.
Stir in mayonnaise; blend carefully, making sure macaroni is well mixed with mayonnaise.
Check seasoning; set aside to chill.
