Ingredients

 
1 1/2 teacups cooked shell macaroni
 
1 large can (450 grams) baked beans
 
100 grams (4 oz.) grated cooking cheese
 
2 capsicums
 
4 large tomatoes
 
1/4 teacup tomato ketchup
 
4 cloves crushed garlic
 
3 onions
 
1 teaspoon chilli powder
 
2 tablespoons butter, salt to taste

Directions

Cut the onions and capsicums into rings.
Put the tomatoes in boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes. Skin and chop them.
Put the butter in a vessel, add the onion rings and fry.
After 2 minutes, add the capsicum rings. Cover and cook for 3 minutes.
Take out a few rings of onions and capsicums for decoration.
Add the crushed garlic, tomatoes and chilli powder and cook for at least 4 minutes.
Add the macaroni, beans, tomato ketchup and salt.
Grease a baking dish and put the mixture in it. Cover with capsicum and onion rings and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Bake in a hot oven at 400 °F. for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
