Macaroni and Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) package elbow macaroni 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups grated cheese 1 /2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Directions
Boil macaroni until tender, following directions on package.
Rinse and drain in sieve.
Pre-pare medium white sauce of 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, flour, milk and seasonings; add 2/3 cup cheese, and stir until melted.
Add macaroni, and spread in 1 1 /2â€â€2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining cheese over macaroni, and add crumbs and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine.
Bake at 350°F. 20-30 minutes.
