Macaroni With Cheese And Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 oz. macaroni or spaghetti | ||
| Water | 1 1/2 Pint, salted | |
| 2 tablespoons oil or 1 oz. butter | ||
| 6-8 oz. tomatoes, skinned and sliced or 1/2 pint tinned tomatoes | ||
| 1 rounded teaspoon sugar | ||
| Mixed herbs | 1 | |
| Cheese | 6 Ounce, grated | |
| 2 rounded teaspoons brewer's yeast powder or onion soup mix | ||
| Little chopped parsley or chives | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Cook the macaroni in the rapidly boiling water until just tender, drain well.
2) Stir in the oil, sugar, tomatoes and herbs and heat thoroughly.
3) Turn off the heat, then stir in the cheese and onion soup mix or yeast powder.
SERVING
4) Spoon in a warm dish, garnish with the chopped parsley or chives and serve immediately with the fruit salad or fruits.
