Macaroni Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
| Macaroni | 6 Ounce | |
| Butter | 3 Ounce | |
| 1 oz. | ||
| Flour salt, pepper | ||
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 1/2 Pint | |
| 6 oz. grated firm cheese | ||
| Tomato soup | 10 Ounce | |
| Bacon | 1/4 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 | |
| Green pepper | 1 Small | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Grated cheese | ||
Directions
Cook macaroni in boiling salted water 12 to 15 minutes or until tender; drain.
Melt butter in saucepan, remove from heat, stir in flour and seasonings.
Return to heat and cook 1 minute.
Add milk gradually, stirring until sauce boils and thickens, remove from heat.
Add gratedcheese and tomato soup, mix well.
Gently heat sauce, do not boil.
Fry lightly, chopped bacon, chopped onion and chopped pepper, add to sauce.
Add macaroni and Worcestershire sauce, mix thoroughly.
Place mixture into casserole dish, sprinkle with extra grated cheese.
Bake in moderate oven, Mark 4, 350°F., 25 to 30 minutes.
