Macaroni And Cheese With Tomato Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Green bell pepper | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| Elbow macaroni package | 1 , uncooked | |
| Tomato soup | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Hot water | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| American Cheese | 2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Buttered bread crumbs or cracker crumbs, if desired | ||
Directions
1. Place bacon in 3-quart casserole. Cover loosely and microwave on high 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp. Stir in onion, bell pepper, macaroni, soup and water.
2. Cover tightly and microwave 14 to 16 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes, until macaroni is tender. Stir in cheese until melted. Top with bread crumbs.
