Lyonnaise Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups (500 ml) beef stock
2 tbsp (30 ml) kneaded butter (beurre manie)
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
1 onion, finely sliced
1 garlic clove, finely sliced
Salt and pepper
Directions
– In a saucepan, heat beef stock, then add kneaded butter and mix with wire whisk or beater. Simmer for 15 minutes.
– Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt butter and saute onion and garlic. Add mixture to stock, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 15 minutes.
