1 can (12 oz.) luncheon meat
 
8 Holland rusks
 
8 pineapple rings
 
1 cup applesauce
 
Chopped peanuts
 
8 maraschino cherries

Directions

Cut luncheon meat into 8 slices.
Arrange one slice meat and one pineapple ring on each rusk.
Place 4 sandwiches on a plate.
Pour 1 to 2 tablespoons applesauce over top of each sandwich.
Microwave 4 sandwiches at a time, 3 to 5 minutes.
Garnish with chopped peanuts and a cherry before serving.
