Luncheon Meat Mozzarella Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 12-ounce can luncheon meat | ||
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Bread crumbs | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), dried | |
| Butter/Margarine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 12-ounce can or jar spaghetti sauce | ||
| Mozzarella cheese slice | 4 | |
| Oregano leaves | 4 | |
Directions
About 30 minutes before serving: Slice luncheon meat into 4 lengthwise slices; dip into egg, then into bread crumbs.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In large skillet, in hot butter, saute meat until golden on both sides.
Into 8" by 8" by 2" baking dish, pour half of spaghetti sauce; add meat slices; top with cheese slices; pour on rest of sauce.
Sprinkle with oregano.
Bake 15 minutes or until bubbly.
