Lumachine and Crabmeat Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Pasta shells | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), cooked, drained | |
| Green pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Crabmeat | 1 pound, flaked | |
| 1 tablespoon of capers, rinsed in water and drained | ||
| 1 cup of mayonnaise mixed with | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| A good pinch of cayenne pepper | ||
| Boston lettuce leaves | 4 | |
| Pimentos | 2 , cut into strips | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, quartered | ||
Directions
Combine everything up to the lettuce leaves; mix thoroughly but gently.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Line a bowl with the lettuce leaves.
Spoon in the pasta and crabmeat mixture, and garnish with the pimento strips and hard-cooked eggs.
