Luau Kabobs Recipe

| Packed brown sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cloves | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 2-pound canned ham, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes | ||
| 1 large pineapple, cut into 1-inch chunks | ||
| 1 9- to 10-ounce jar preserved kumquats | ||
Directions
1. In 1-quart saucepan over low heat, heat first 5 ingredients, stirring often, until butter or margarine melts. Remove saucepan from heat.
2. Preheat broiler if manufacturer directs. On six 14-inch all-metal skewers, thread ham cubes alternately with pineapple and kumquats.
3. Place skewers on rack in broiling pan; broil 15 minutes or until ham is heated through, brushing frequently with butter mixture and turning skewers occasionally.
