Luau Kabobs Recipe
You don't have to be a gourmet to judge how appetizing and flavorful Luau Kabobs is. I will prepare this Luau Kabobs as Main Dish for a get-together I am soon going to host. In case you try out this Luau Kabobs, make it a point to get back with your feedback and comments .
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 can (13 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained and juice reserved
1/4 cup juice from pineapple chunks
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
1 pound cooked ham, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 large orange, peeled and cut into sections
Directions
Placebutterin 1 quartmeasure.
MICROWAVEon HIGH until butter melts.
Stir in pineapple and lemon juices, brown sugar, cloves and mustard.
MICROWAVE I to 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until hot.
On each of 8 wooden skewers, alternate ham, pineapple chunks and orange sections.
Place on microwave roasting rack in (12 x 8-inch) baking dish.
Brush with sauce.
MICROWAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH.
Turn.
Brush with remaining sauce.
MICROWAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until sizzling hot.
Serve on rice with remaining sauce.
