Low Fat Apple and Walnut Pie Recipe
Ingredients

| Caster sugar | 50 Gram | |

| Small lemon - 1, grated rind | ||
| Self raising flour | 25 Gram | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Apples - 8 crisp | ||
| Sultanas | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Pastry sheets - 270 g pack | ||
| Low fat cooking spray | ||
| Icing sugar - 1 teaspoon, sieved and dusted | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 170°C.
2. Chop the nuts in a food processor very finely.
MAKING
3. In a small bowl cream butter and sugar.
4. Whisk egg in the bowl. Add flour, lemon rind and cinnamon.
5. Add the nuts and mix well.
6. In a bowl peel apple slice, cor and slice them.
7. Toss sultanas and lemon juice with rest of cinnamon and sugar.
8. In a metallic flan dish line pastry for about three quarters of the dish.
9. Spray cooking oil on the base of pie. Unsprayed sections can overhang.
10. Spread nut mixture on the base. Top with apples.
11. Gather the overhanging pastry and scrunch the sheets.
12. Scrunch the rest of the pastry and use it to conceal apple filling.
13. Spray light on the top section of the pie.
14. Bake 60 minutes. Cover when the pastry starts browning.'
