Directions
1. Combine skim milk and low-fat cottage cheese in the container of an electric blender. Cover and whirl at high speed until mixture is smooth and creamy. The consistency will be very thick.
2. Turn the cottage-cheese mixture into a small, heavy saucepan and cook over very low heat, stirring constantly, until sauce is hot. Stir in the onion powder, salt, nutmeg and thyme. (Don't let the sauce boil or it will curdle.)
