Low Cal Dessert Squares Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 cups graham wafer crumbs | ||
| Melted margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups low fat cottage cheese | ||
| 8 pkgs. sugar substitute | ||
| Whipped topping package | 1 | |
| 1 pkg. low calorie jello powder | ||
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups canned or frozen fruit with juice | ||
Directions
Mix well crumbs and margarine.
Pat into 9 x 13" pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 350°F.
Cool.
Blend cottage cheese in food processor until smooth.
Add sugar substitute, whipped topping (mixed as package directs); spread on crumb base.
Dissolve jello powder in boiling water.
Add fruit with juice.
Chill until almost set.
Spread on cheese mixture.
Chill 3 hours or longer.
Good combinations: orange jelly powder and pineapple; strawberry jello and frozen berries; raspberry jello and frozen cherries.
