Love Bites Recipe
Ingredients
| 24 fresh cherries, with their stem | ||
| White rum | 12 Ounce | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 1 Pound | |
Directions
Wash cherries in cold water.
Drain.
Pat dry.
In a large preserve jar, loosely place cherries.
Pour in rum.
Seal airtight.
Macerate 15 days in refrigerator.
Remove from refrigerator.
Drain cherries.
Pat dry with a paper towel.
Set aside.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate.
Dip cherries halfway in melted chocolate.
Place on wax paper.
Wait for chocolate to set.
Dip cherries once more in melted chocolate.
Refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
Drain.
Pat dry.
