Louisiana Chicken Recipe
I grew up eating this Louisiana Chicken frequently and am happy to share this recipe with you. The Louisiana Chicken is made with Chicken which is easy to procure from any grocery store. Serve this tasty Main Dish as often as you like! Stop ruminating and make this Louisiana Chicken right now!
Ingredients
4 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) Cajun Recipe Stewed Tomatoes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 slices Monterey Jack cheese Parsley
Hot cooked rice (optional)
Directions
Place chicken in baking dish.
Cover and bake at 375°F, 30 to 35 minutes; drain.
Combine tomatoes and cornstarch in saucepan; stir to dissolve cornstarch.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove chicken from baking dish.
Pour all but 1 cup sauce into dish.
Arrange chicken over sauce in dish; top with remaining sauce.
Place 1 slice cheese on each piece of chicken.
Bake until cheese melts.
Garnish with parsley.
