Long Island Clam Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
1 medium (3-ounce) potato, peeled and diced
1/2 cup clam juice
1/2 cup tomato juice
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup finely diced celery
1 tablespoon dehydrated onion flakes
1/2 envelope instant chicken broth and seasoning mix
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/2 bay leaf
Dash cayenne pepper
6 ounces cooked, minced clams
Directions
Combine all ingredients except clams in saucepan and simmer until potato and celery are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Add clams and heat thoroughly.
