London Broil With Chili Seasonings Recipe
Ingredients
3. tablespoons olive or other vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced or crushed through a press
1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 1/2-pound London broil
Directions
1 Preheat the broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil.
2 In a small bowl, combine the oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, parsley (if using), chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper and cayenne.
3 Place the steak on the broiler pan and brush with half of the marinade.
4 Broil the steak 4 inches from the heat for 7 minutes.
5 Turn the steak over, brush the other side with the remaining marinade and broil 4 inches from the heat until well browned, about 7 minutes for medium-rare, 9 minutes for medium and 11 minutes for well-done. Let the steak stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
