Lombard Green Tart Recipe
The lombard green tart is a bked vegetables tart. Super healthy and savory, the lombard green tart is flavored with dried herbs and has spinach, cottage cheese and zucchini in it. served hot or chilled, I found this recipe an intersting way to serve vegetables. you will love it too!
Ingredients
| Frozen chopped spinach package | 1 , thawed | |
| 2 cups low fat cottage cheese | ||
| Zucchini | 1 Medium, minced | |
| Celery stalks | 2 , minced | |
| 1 bunch green onions, green part only, minced | ||
| Snipped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 teaspoon dried | 2 Teaspoon, snipped | |
| 2 teaspoons snipped fresh or 1teaspoon dried thyme leaves | ||
| 4 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Lettuce leaves | ||
Directions
Press all liquid from spinach.
Combine all ingredients, except lettuce leaves, in a bowl.
Mix thoroughly.
Spoon mixture into a lightly oiled 9 inch pie plate.
Bake at 375°F 45 minutes.
Cut into wedges toserve.
Serve hot, or refrigerate until chilled and serve on lettuce.
