Lobster Fritters Recipe
Ingredients
| Sifted all purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Canned lobster | 5 Ounce | |
| Beaten egg | 1 | |
| Shortening | 150 Milliliter | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 3⁄10 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 3⁄10 Teaspoon | |
| White pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sauterne | 3⁄10 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Processedswiss cheese | 4 Ounce |
Directions
Sift together 1 cup flour, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Combine lobster, % cup milk, and egg.
Stir intoflour mixture justtill moistened.
Drop from tablespoon into deep, hot fat (375°).
Fry a few at a time till golden, 3 to 4 minutes.
Drain on paper toweling.
Melt butter in saucepan; blend in 2 tablespoons flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and white pepper.
Add 1 cup milk and wine all at once.
Cook and stir till mixture is thickened and bubbly.
And cheese and stir till the cheese is melted.
Pass cheese sauce with fritters.
