Loaf Pound Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon peel | 1/2 Teaspoon, grated | |
| Sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 3 Small | |
| Flour | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), sifted | |
| Baking powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon |
Directions
Set oven at 350.
Cream butter and lemon peel.
Gradually add sugar, creaming until light.
Add vanilla, then eggs 1 at a time.
Beat well after each egg.
Stir in dry sifted ingrediants.
Grease BOTTOM only of 9x5x3 pan and pour in batter.
Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Cool in pan.
Sift powdered sugar over top.
