4 slices calf liver (about 1 pound)
4 tablespoons margarine
3 medium onions, peeled and sliced
2 apples, cored and cut into 1/2 inch thick rings
Directions
Dry the liver.
Saute onions in 3 tablespoons margarine.
Remove onion rings and saute apples until they are cooked through but not mushy (about 2 to 3 minutes on each side).
Remove apples.
Saute liver about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Place on platter and top with onions and apples.
