Liver Spread Recipe
Ingredients
| Cream cheese | 1 | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Strained Beef Liver - 1 jar (3 1/2 oz.) | ||
| Strained Chicken - 1 jar (3 1/2 oz.) | ||
| Wine vinegar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pnion powder - 1/2 teaspoon | ||
| Ground mace | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Celery salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter
2. Use a wire whisk or wooden spoon to beat the mixture until smooth and creamy.
3. Empty in the beef liver and chicken and stir in with the vinegar and spices.
4. Blend well.
5. Spoon the mixture into small pots or containers.
6. Cover and refrigerate to chill before serving.
SERVING
7. This makes about 1 cup of Liver Spread which makes a wonderful appetizer at a party and should be accompanied with assorted crackers or brown bread.
