Liver Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Liver | 8 Ounce | |
| 2 oz. dripping or butter | ||
| 2 pints stock or water | ||
| Seasoning | ||
| Onion | 1 , finely chopped | |
| 2 tomatoes, skinned and chopped | ||
| Flour | 1 Ounce | |
| 1/4 pint single cream or milk | ||
Directions
Cut the liver into small pieces and fry for about 3 minutes in the dripping or butter.
Take care it does not become too hard on the outside.
Add stock or water, seasoning, onion and tomatoes.
Simmer for 40-45 minutes.
Blend the flour with the milk or cream, stir into soup to thicken.
Re-season if necessary.
