Liver Skillet Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Poultry seasoning | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 lb. beef liver, cut into 4 x 1 x 1/2-inch strips | ||
| Bacon Slices | 6 | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, separated into rings | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Place flour, poultry seasoning and pepper in plastic food storage bag.
Add liver.
Shake to coat.
Remove liver from bag.
Remove cooking grid.
Place large cast-iron skillet or grill-safe baking dish directly on lava rock grate, arranging rocks around skillet.
Place bacon in skillet.
Fry at MEDIUM-HIGH with hood closed until bacon is crisp, turning over once.
Remove bacon.
Set aside.
Reduce heat to MEDIUM.
Place onion in skillet.
Cook until tender.
Push to one side of skillet.
Add oil and liver.
Cook until liver is brown, 6 to 10 minutes, turning over once.
Top with onion and bacon.
Add liver.
