Liver Pate Tart Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 cup canned beef consomme, undiluted
1 oz port wine
2 tsp unflavored gelatin
3 tbsp cold water
1 cup liver pate
1 shortcrust pastry, baked
4-5 smoked turkey slices
10-12 pimento stuffed olives, sliced
2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
Directions
In a saucepan, over low heat, warm consomme.
Add port.
Set aside.
In a bowl, let gelatin foam in cold water.
Add to consomme, mixing well.
Let stand to cool slightly.
Meanwhile, in a food processor, soften liver pate.
Spread an even layer of liver pate into pie crust.
Cover with turkey slices.
Top with olive and egg slices.
Pour lukewarm consomme over tart in order to cover garnish.
Refrigerate 3 hours.
