Ingredients

 Cracked Wheat Bread- 1 slice
 Lemon Juice- 1 or 2 tablespoons
 Caraway seeds1 Teaspoon
 Paste1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Raw mushroom- 2nos sliced
 Watercress1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Liver Paste
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Chicken livers3/4 pound
 Skim Milk Powder- 1 tablespoon
 Imitation Butter Flavouring- 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Onion powder1/4 Teaspoon
 Allspice1/8 Teaspoon
 Pepper white1/8 Teaspoon
 Ground Cloves- a pinch

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Cut the bread horizontally into 2 thin slices using bread knife.
2) Preheat the oven to 375°F.
3) In a non-stick pan, dredge the salt.
4) Heat the pan on medium and sauté the liver until browned evenly.
5) Simmer and sauté livers until cooked.
6) Remove the pan from heat and allow to cool.
7) In a blender, place the liver and blend until smooth.
8) Add the milk powder, butter flavouring, salt, onion powder, allspice. pepper and ground cloves and blend to mix.

MAKING
9) Lightly brush each slice with lemon juice.
10) Dredge each slice with caraway seeds.
11) Bake in oven for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
12) Remove from the oven and let it cool.
13) Smear the each slice with liver paste.

SERVING
14) Serve garnished with mushrooms and watercress.
