Liver N Beans Piquant Recipe
Ingredients
4 slices bacon
1 1/2 pounds sliced beef or calf's liver
2 tablespoons flour
1 can (11 ounces) condensed bisque of tomato soup
3/4 cup water
1 package (10 ounces) frozen cut green beans, cooked and drained
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
Directions
In skillet, cook bacon until crisp; remove.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
Dust liver with flour; brown in bacon drippings.
Add soup, water, beans, and garlic salt.
Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until tender.
Stir now and then.
Garnish with bacon.
