Liver Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
| Eggs | 2 , separated | |
| 1 cup cracker crumbs | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted | |
| Liver | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 , grated | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Few gratings of nutmeg | ||
Directions
Mix together beaten egg yolks, cracker crumbs, melted butter, liver, onion, and seasonings.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Form into 24 rounded dumplings and cook in boiling soup for 5 to 6 minutes.
