Ingredients

 Crushed cornflake1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Curry powder1 Teaspoon
 Milk2 Tablespoon
 Grated cheese1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (grated finely)
 Flour4 Cup (64 tbs)
 Soda bicarbonate2
 Cream of tartar1 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon1⁄2 Teaspoon
 Custard powder4 Tablespoon
 Golden syrup3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
 Milk1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Soda bicarbonate1 Teaspoon
 Coffee essence1 Tablespoon
 Celery salt1 Teaspoon
 Cayenne1 Pinch
 Paprika1 Teaspoon

Directions

Foam butter and grated cheese.
Add milk and mix well.
Sift flour, baking powder, curry powder, celery salt and cayenne pepper.
Stir into first mixture and knead mixture well on a floured board.
Roll thinly and cut with small floured cutters.
Brush surface with a little milk and sprinkle each with cornflake crumbs and paprika mixed together.
Bake in a moderate oven for 12-15 minutes until crisp and brown.
