Linguine With White Clam Sauce Using Dry White Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| Linguine package | 1 , uncooked | |
| 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 2 6 1/2 -ounce each) cans or Chopped Clams, drain and reserve liquid | ||
| Parsley | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Basil leaves | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Prepare linguine as package directs; drain.
In medium skillet, heat oil and garlic.
Stir in reserved clam liquid and parsley; cook and stir 3 minutes.
Add clams, wine and basil.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Toss clam sauce with hot cooked linguine.
Serve immediately.
Refrigerate leftovers.
