Linguine With Shrimp And Basil Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

 
3/4 lb. linguine
 
1/3 cup olive oil
 
2 tsp. crushed garlic
 
Pinch red pepper
 
6-10 basil leaves, chopped (1 tsp. dry)
 
12 oz. medium shrimp,peeled and deveined
 
12 oz. tomatoes, chopped (preferably Italian plum)
 
Salt to taste
 
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

Cook in boiling water until al dente (firm to the bite).
Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce.
Heat in large skillet.
Add and saute for 1 minute.
Add and saute just until shrimp are pink, approx 3 minutes.
Add pasta, toss, and serve with Parmesan cheese.
