 Olive oil2 Tablespoon
 1/3 cup (90 g 3 oz) chopped bacon
 Garlic3 Clove (5gm), crushed
 Tomato1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Stock5 Cup (16 tbs)
 Linguine pasta250 Gram, broken
  black pepper1
 Parmesan cheese 3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Chopped basil1 Teaspoon, garnish

Directions

Heat oil in a pan and cook bacon and garlic until golden brown.
Add tomato and stock, and bring to the boil.
Add linguine and cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
Season to taste, then stir in half the cheese and basil.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the soup.
