Linguine And Broccoli With Peanut Sauce Recipe

1/2 cup chicken broth
2 stalks broccoli
1 large red bell pepper
1 bunch scallions (6 to 8)
1/2 cup packed cilantro sprigs (optional)
1/2 pound linguine or spaghetti
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced or crushed through a press

1 Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
