Lime Sorbet Recipe
Lime Sorbet has a lovely taste. Lime Sorbet gets it taste from lime mixed with eggs and food coloring. Lime Sorbet is loved by many people around the world.
Ingredients
| Limes | 4 Large | |
| Hot water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 6 Tablespoon | |
| 1 egg white, slightly beaten | ||
| 1 drop each green and yellow food color | ||
| Mint leaves or citrus leaves, for garnish | ||
Directions
Grate peel from 1 lime; set aside.
Squeeze juice from limes to measure 1/2 cup juice.
In 1 quart measure, combine hot water and sugar; stir to dissolve.
In medium bowl, combine lime juice, lime peel, sugar mixture, egg white and food colors; blend well.
Pour into shallow pan.
Cover and freeze, stirring about once an hour to break up ice crystals, until firm.
Remove from freezer about 20 minutes before serving.
Garnish with mint leaves or citrus leaves, if desired.
