Lime Dream Pie Recipe
Ingredients
Chocolate Wafer Crust
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups water
1/2 cup frozen limeade concentrate, thawed
1 drop green food coloring
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup whipping cream
Directions
Prepare Chocolate Wafer Crust; chill.
Combine sugar, flour, and salt; stir in water.
Add concentrate and food coloring.
Cook and stir till bubbly; cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Stir small amount hot mixture into yolks; return to hot mixture.
Cook and stir till bubbly; stir in butter.
Pour into crust; cool.
Whip cream; spread on pie.
Chill.
