Lime Baked Fillets Recipe
Ingredients
| Cod fillets- 2 pounds, cut into 1 1/2 by 3 inches | ||
| Onion Salt- 1/2 teaspoon | ||
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Mace | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Capers | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lime | 1 , sliced | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2) Coat the bottom of a baking pan with butter.
3) Arrange the fish on the baking pan.
MAKING
4) In a bowl, mix together onion salt, paprika, nutmeg and mace.
5) Dredge the paprika mixture over the fish pieces.
6) Spread capers and lime slices on the fish.
7) Wrap with foil and bake for 10 minutes or until fish falls off easily with fork.
SERVING
8) Place the fish on the serving plate carefully and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
9) Tartar sauce, French fries and a small salad can also be served on side.
