Lima Beans, Catalan Style Recipe
This delicious Lima Beans, Catalan Style is from my grandma's cookbook. A good way to use up Vegetable is to make some amazing Lima Beans, Catalan Style. It is served as a delicious Side Dish. Ingredients
1 pound garlic flavored sausage, cut in 2 inch pieces
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 large cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 can condensed cream of celery soup
1/4 cup water
1 small bay leaf
Generous dash of cayenne
Pepper
1 package frozen baby lima beans
1 cup chopped tomatoes
Lemon slices
Directions
Brown sausage.
Cook green onions with garlic in butter in a large saucepan until tender.
Blend in soup, water, bay leaf, cayenne and lima beans; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes; cook 5 minutes longer, or until done, stirring occasionally.
Remove bay leaf; garnish with lemon slices.
