 Lima beans2 Cup (16 tbs), shelled
 Baby carrots1/2 pound
 Butter/Margarine1 Tablespoon, melted
 Savory Sauce
 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon
 All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
 Chicken broth1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Whipping cream3 Tablespoon
 Egg yolk1
 Parsley1 Tablespoon, chopped
 Savory1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING
1) In a pot, add in the beans and water to cover.
2) Allow to boil.
3) Place a lid over and reduce heat.
4) Allow to simmer for 20 minutes, till tender.
5) Add the carrots with water to cover, and allow to boil.
6) Place a lid, lower heat, and allow to simmer for 15 minutes till tender.
7) Drain the vegetables well.
8) In a pan, add the vegetables, and toss with butter.
9) Transfer to a casserole.
10) For the Savory Sauce, gently heat butter in a saucepan.
11) Add in the flour, and stir till smooth.
12) Stirring continuously, cook the sauce for 1 minute.
13) Slowly add in the broth and cook, stirring constantly.
14) In a bowl, add the cream and egg yolk and mix well.
15) Using about one-fourth of the hot mix, slowly stir it into the yolk mix.
16) Add to the remaining hot mix, stirring constantly.
17) Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
18) Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

SERVING
19) Pour the Savory Sauce over the vegetables and toss well till coated.
20) Serve immediately.
