Lilva Rice Recipe

Ingredients
| Washed and drained rice 1 1/2 cups | ||
| Green double beans or Surti papdi 1 cup | ||
| Cinnamon stick | 2 | |
| Ghee | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cloves | 2 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Ginger | 1 Teaspoon, grated (Ingredients to be grinded into paste) | |
| Coriander | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Ingredients to be grinded into paste) | |
| Fresh green garlic optional 1/4 cup | ||
| Lemon juice 1/2 lemon | ||
| Green chillies | 4 (Ingredients to be grinded into paste) | |
Directions
First heat the ghee.
Then to the heated ghee, add the cloves and the cinnamon sticks and stir it for 30 seconds.
Add the rice and keep stirring for a couple of minutes.
Boil the double beans in a separate place and add the boiled beans to the rice.
Put in the ground paste and 4 cups of tepid water and blend them thoroughly.
Add salt as per taste.
Now in an earthen pot, transfer the whole thing and cover it.
Place the pot in a preheated oven at 200° C (400° F) and bake it for half an hour till the rice gets completely cooked.
