Lightening Tea Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
Sweet milk
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions
Place cooled butter and eggs in a cup, and fill with sweet milk.
Mix.
Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.
Add milk mixture, vanilla and lemon juice.
Mix, and bake at 350° in well-greased small muffin tins until done.
If desired, nuts may be added when batter is mixed, but dredge nuts well with flour.
