Ingredients

 Vegetable oil
 1-1/2 cups assorted miniature candies
 Licorice package3
 Water3 Tablespoon
 8 Mcintosh apples
 1/3 cup orange candy moulding wafers

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Take a baking sheet,cover it with parchment paper or foil and lightly brush with oil.
2) Evenly divide all the candies into 8 mounds or 8 heaped portions and set aside.

MAKING
3) In a microwaveable bowl,combine licorice toffee and water and cook without lid on high heat for about 2 minutes.
4) Remove,stir well and continue cooking in the microwave for a minute or the same procedure can be done by heating on top of double boiler over medium heat until melted.
5) Press a wooden stir stick into stem end of each apple.
6) With the help of this holding stick,dip each apple into hot toffee mixture,so as to cover the apple completely and allow the excess drip back into bowl.
7) Press end of apple into 1 candy heaped mass,pushing candies into toffee to help stick together and allow to stand.
8) Reheat the toffee if it begins to thicken in the process of repeating the above same procedure with other apples.
9) Allow all to set till firm by refrigerating for a minimum of 1 hour or a maximum of 8 hours.

FINALISING
10) In small microwaveable bowl, microwave orange candy moulding wafers on Medium (50%) for about 2 minutes or until melted and the procedure can be done on top of a double boiler also as previously suggested.
11) Mix well until smooth.
12) Drizzle as you wish to decorate over the apples and apples can be individually wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to 1 day.

SERVING
13) Allow to stand for half an hour before serving.
14) Eat and enjoy.
