Lettuce and Green Bean Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons cider vinegar | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces | ||
| 4 cups cooked green beans, drained | ||
| Bacon Slices | 3 , diced | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Mix together the onion, salt, pepper, cider vinegar and sugar.
2) Set the mixture aside.
MAKING
3) In a large salad bowl, arrange the lettuce.
4) Add a topping of hot green beans on the lettuce.
5) Now, pour over the onion mixture over the hot beans.
6) Cook the bacon until it becomes crisp.
7) Next, add the drippings and bacon on the green beans.
8) Toss the ingredients lightly.
SERVING
9) Garnish pieces of eggs on the top.
10) Serve immediately.
