Lentil Soup Recipe
There's not a single being who will be able to eat just one, is what I guarantee for this Lentil Soup. Lentil Soup makes a yummy Side Dish. No other ingredient will make Lentil Soup taste so awesome than Vegetable. I am sure both of us will be in agreement that this Lentil Soup is truly scrumptious.
Ingredients
2 cups dried lentils
2 quarts water
1 ham bone
1/2 cup diced celery
1 medium onion, cut fine
2 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Soak washed lentils overnight in 1 quart water.
Drain.
Add remainder of water, ham bone, celery, and onion.
Pressure cook at 15 lbs.pressure for 3 0 minutes.
Reduce pressure.
Remove ham bone and skim fat from stock.
Mix flour and seasonings to a paste with a little of the stock.
Add to soup mixture and cook for a few minutes over a low flame until smooth and thickened.
