Lentil Pumpkin Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Sodium chicken broth | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pumpkin | 1 15 Ounce | |
| Lentils | 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained, rinsed | |
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dried thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Dried marjoram | 1/4 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Ground pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon |
Directions
1. In a large saucepan stir together broth, pumpkin, lentils, onion, water, thyme, marjoram, and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer soup, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes or till lentils and onion are tender, stirring occasionally.
