Lentil Nut Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Small onion | 1 | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Wheat germ | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lentils | 2 Cup (16 tbs), cooked | |
| Walnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Whole wheat bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sesame seeds | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350°
MAKING
2. In a frying pan add onions and saute till the onions are soft.
3. Combine the rest of the ingredients. Do not add sesame seeds at this stage.
4. Press the ingredients in a greased loaf pan.
5. Sprinkle sesame seeds.
6. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°covered.
7. Uncover. Bake 10 minutes more.
SERVING
8. Serve lentil nut loaf warm.
